About the Album
“MonaLisa Twins play Beatles & more Vol. 3” is the third cover compilation album released by the MonaLisa Twins. It consists of 14 cover songs, recorded between 2015 and 2018. You will find a lot of Beatles on it but the Twins also covered songs by The Kinks, Cream, Simon & Garfunkel and many more.
John Sebastian (The Lovin’ Spoonful) also joins them for a version of his 60’s classic “Did You Ever Have To Make Up Your Mind”.“We recorded a handful of songs just for the release of Volume 3 and really enjoy the selection of songs on this one. It’s a great mix of our favourite tracks from different corners of music, and we honour the songs that we decided to cover immensely. Recording with John Sebastian was especially fun, we did that in our Studio in Merseyside”
The album mainly contains studio recordings, with one live performance of “You’re Going To Lose That Girl”, which got recorded during the Twins’ 2 year residency at the legendary Cavern Club in Liverpool.
Many tracks on the CD have been on the MonaLisa Twins YouTube channel for years, while others have not been published anywhere before. People from all over the world discovered them by searching for covers of their favourite songs and then kept following the Twins’ musical career. The “MonaLisa Twins play Beatles & more” Album Series is a fan requested project and you can also find Vol. 1 and Vol. 2 in the store.

Wonderful fantastic singers. Love their versions of my era.
I just love it. Thank you
just listened to the cavern discs – absolutely brilliant and having been to two of the Beatles concerts in Glasgow waaay back, it was a pleasure to actually listen to their songs without all the screaming and to my mind the Twins sound terrific and would love to see them live – having been to the Cavern a few times i think i really missed on this, still hope is eternal. cheers to all
How is it possible that the favourite songs of my youth sound even better when performed by Mona and Lisa?! This album contains so many beloved hits from the Beatles and other great artists of the 60s and 70s, all sounding true to the originals yet with something extra that makes them sound fresh and new. Definitely one of my favourite recordings!
There are 3 CDs titled “Beatles and More”…they are all fabulous recreations of some of the 60s greatest songs…Volume 3 has 14 songs..6 of those are Beatle songs …one of those is a personal favorite from the Help movie “The Night Before”…you’ll hear a Simon and Garfunkel song..The Kinks…Cat Stevens..Peter and Gordon…Steve Harley…Cream…and John Sebastian playing guitar and singing a Lovin Spoonful song with the girls and Papa Rudi with a “cameo” appearance…and The Zombies ( and if you watch the video on this one you’ll see Mona lost her head !!!! Oops !)
I already had all the MLT albums, ordered the 3 album set so I could share the music of the Twins with friends. I not only talk about the music, I share it and having the album autographed makes it even more special
I have all three volumes and they are all great compositions of very famous songs. And some not so famous. I recommend your music to anybody that asks what I am listening to now a days.
I have become big in the 60s – with “Friday on my mind” (even played in 1966 with the student band) and I love the music, like Mona and Lisa, who interpret this great, exciting and beautifully. They impress with the best musical work, in addition to their excellent singing also through a clean, appealing instrumentalization, like Lisas Leadguitar. My collection is now completed by your CDs. Clear recommendation.
More great covers, this continues nicely from where the original 2 disc set leaves off. Sound quality is exemplary, even through my Koss pro headphones. Your music is really great in the car as well. You two are really very talented, both as musicians and singers.
As a 67 year old man I really enjoy your covers of the music I grew up with in the 60’s and 70’s. Your Beatles covers are spot on as are the other hits. Your harmonies are wonderful. The instrumental playing is such a joy to listen to as you are both very talented musicians.
The album “Orange” is going to take awhile for me to get used to as I normally don’t listen to much of the new music coming out. I know it is all original music written and performed by the two of you, and the talent you put in is very good. It will have to grow on me, so give me a little time.
