About the Album
The MonaLisa Twins’ long awaited 3rd original album is now available on Vinyl. Having been penned during one of the perhaps strangest periods in recent human history, many of the songs explore various aspects of the current times and can be summed up in a rather simple question … WHY?
As always you will be able to find lots of tongue-in-cheek moments as well as some sincere ponderings and reflections on life.

I discovered the MLT a few years ago. I really enjoy their covers, and their originals, so when I had the opportunity to purchase their vinyl albums for my collection I didn’t hesitate. I own “Orange” and “Why?” and also the DVD “When we’re Together”. If they come out with more vinyls or DVD’s I will also purchase those. I also look forward to their videos on YouTube.
I’ve only really listened to MLT sing covers and I was curious to hear them sing some of their own material. I was not disappointed, loved the album and there was a good mix of songs on it.
From a logistical point of view, my order came through quickly and well packed. I loved the album cover too.
Obviously, your skill as musicians is appreciated but above that is how your artistic talent isn’t hampered by salespeople or marketing teams, which is a true delight. The quality of the entire project shows how it is from the two of you, your experience, and desire to give us what you want. What you have created works, not just for me, anyone who loves music, especially that which is genuine.
“Why” is a fantastic album. When it comes to talent, the MonaLisa Twins are second to none. I already have the cd but I like to collect vinyl. I plan to frame the album. Great artwork and very nice signatures
GET THIS ON VINYL! It’s signed with liquid gold and the sound is like liquid gold. They’ve grown as instrumentalists. I received a vinyl copy of this album and am very pleased with it. For years, the MLTs have known their talents reside in new, original tunes. They answered their fans and I believe this latest Why? will become a legendary recording. The sound is faithful to the nostalgic yet… Read more »
Received my “Why” vinyl album and wow! Every song is a gem. And in the tradition of those great albums I grew up with in the 1960s, the album jacket artwork is just as awesome as the songs inside. I have been ordering from the MonaLisa Twins for a few years now and have never been disappointed. They are the real deal and deserve to be heard! Looking forward to… Read more »
There is nothing like the smooth, pure sound of a vinyl record album and this WHY? album is remarkable. Every song on the album is Good…Period, The End. The email I received asked me to leave a review and said “Let us know if you’re happy” Are you kidding? My album is personally signed by both Mona & Lisa and I am Ecstatic!
This is a review of the vinyl release as I’ve been listening to the CD for many months. The music is amazing, and greatly exceeded my expectations (I did a longer review for the CD version which you can find on this site). The vinyl comes in a black package with lovely large cover art. Other than that it sounds great (especially the bass) and neatly complements my CD, art… Read more »
I have played the entire album many times. But I have played Jump Ship at least a million! Worth the wait…
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again, this is one of the best albums of all time. If you think I’m exaggerating, just take a listen. WHY? Vinyl? This concept album begs to spun on the turntable. My engineer brain wants to tell me that the digital sound is the same or better than the uncompressed analog signal, but my ears just love the silkiness of analog… Read more »
