Questionable – Lyrics

Questionable

Tell me, what’s your current occupation?
What’s your dream vacation?
When’s the last time you have felt alone?
How often do you tend to call your mother?
Each day or every other?
And is your ex still on your telephone?

And tell me are you ticklish anywhere?
And do you care
about the roundabout they’re building over there?

And could you rank your qualities again
From one to ten
So I can best compare you with the other men?

You want my love
You want romance
There’s things I gotta know before you get a chance
My heart is one big questionnaire
So let me see if we could make a questionable pair

What’s your reputation with the ladies?
Do you want any babies?
Could you share what’s your preferred amount?

Now, tell me what’s a fantasy you’re seeking?
And now that we are speaking
Say, how much is in your bank account?

How often do you tend to wash your hair?
And could you share
The frequency with which you change your underwear?

Do you believe in happenstance or fate?
And can you state
why you think you’re an eligible candidate?

You want my love
You want romance
There’s things I gotta know before you get a chance
My heart is one big questionnaire
So let me see if we could make a questionable pair

Question after question, you can improve your score
Question after question, I’d love you even more
Question after question, you fill in my questionnaire
So we can make a questionable pair
Oh yeah
Yes we can make a questionable pair

Are there any other things I need to know?
Then tell me so
Like allergies to peanuts, cats or sourdough
I came up with this scientific way
For me to say
If you have what it takes to be the one to stay

You want my love
You want romance
There’s things I gotta know before you get a chance
My heart is one big questionnaire
So let me see if we could make a questionable pair

You want my love
You want romance
There’s things I gotta know before you get a chance
My love is one big questionnaire
So let me see if we could make a questionable pair

GREAT song! That tempo change towards the end is very Beatle-esque! You 2 are the best band I’ve heard in decades. If I were 40 years younger and you had terrible taste in men, I’d fill this sucka out in a heartbeat! Rock on!

I love the lyrics, the music and the video. Very clever and very well done.
One of the best on the CD and one of the best you ever did.

Love this tune. Love the Hammond organ with Leslie speaker. Interesting perspective.

Yes, I agree, the organ really adds a lot to the song.

Iam old but LIKE your open frank words, but have a little care not to put the man feel unsure. We all are equel in life. Good voice enjoyed it. Sent in peace

Essa música é muito massa!
A melodia é cativante e a letra muito engraçada e bem construída. Parabéns!
