Everybody’s Talkin’ – New Video

Who here has seen the movie Midnight Cowboy? 🤠 …

“Everybody’s Talking” is the opening track of our latest acoustic album The Duo Sessions II. The album (and all other music & merch) is still -25% until Cyber Monday!

We only recently learned that the original is actually by a singer called Fred Neil (it’s a great version!) but only Harry Nilsson’s version reached the billboard charts in 1969 at number 6, after his version was used for the soundtrack to the movie “Midnight Cowboy”.

What a cool song, we loved giving it a go, especially the acoustic guitar picking part!

Members of our MLT Club have had access to this video/song for a few months now so if you too would like to watch some of the still exclusive Duo Session videos and always get early access, you can join us here.
The Black Friday discount (-25%) works for your first month/year too!

Black Friday Sale

There’s still 25% off everything in our online store till tomorrow, Midnight!
You can use the coupon code to get a discount on any (or all!) of our 12 CDs, vinyl, lots of new merch or even the MLT Club Membership. 🙂

MLT Club Advent Calendar

We’re also about to start our annual Advent Calendar over at the MLT Club.

Every December, we post daily content leading up to Christmas there in order to spend the holidays together with our biggest supporters and to bring the community together as much as possible.

This year, we will do a Livestream 3 times a week (Wednesdays, Fridays, Sundays) and a music-only stream on Mondays. On the days in-between we will post written updates which can include a poll, task or question for the community.

All MLT Club members will also receive a signed Christmas card in the mail!

All this is in addition to the exclusive content already available in the MLT Club. If you’ve ever thought about joining, December is the perfect time to hop in and try it out! 🙂

Beautiful cover of this song…. it was so nice to see as you were hitting that first real high harmony….You both got eye contact…. It’s a good thing Mona held her composure…. I think Lisa would’ve cracked up. That was so nice…. It just shows the relationship that you two have. You really enjoy what you do. And you choose to do it on your terms and your schedule. I’m… Read more »

I’ve loved you two immensely for years now, but to see that you enjoy Harry Nilsson tops it off. Not à lot of people are aware of the vast catalog of his work. Many artists sang Nilssons songs and many topped the charts. You ladies are too cool for school!! Very well done. Bye for now I got to put the lime in thee coconut and call the Dr. In… Read more »

I was playing this in my car stereo today, which has better bass control, and the bass on this track is outstanding. Good job Mona. Of course the vocals are heavenly and Lisa’s guitar playing is incredible. The little chuckle makes me smile every time.

I never really liked this song, and though I think y’all’s version is much, much better, I still don’t really like this song.
But have no fear! I didn’t like ALL of The Beatles’ songs, either, so there ‘ya go.

I watched Midnight Cowboy last night. I never knew what it was about. I only knew of it because of this song. I like how they used it throughout the film. It was interesting how we learned of the hero’s past through flashbacks and dreams. The imagery was a little hard to follow at first. I think another viewing may be worth it. During the scene when he first arrives… Read more »
