“Just got the time right” 🎶 …
With the US Elections just around the corner it seems fitting to release a new, more stripped-back acoustic version of “I Bought Myself A Politician”.
A song very close to our hearts, and in our minds a big pillar of the WHY? album that came out two years ago.
It’s always interesting for us to re-visit a song that we had previously only released as a full studio production and to give it a try on just two guitars.
In many cases we would have workshopped a song in a similar acoustic setting during the writing phase but as far as we remember “I Bought Myself A Politician” pretty much went from “rough idea” to “studio recording” quite swiftly.
We didn’t spend much time jamming it on a couple guitars first. So that made it particularly enjoyable to try out this version now! We hope you enjoy it ♥

At the time of writing this post there are only 10 Art Prints left of our Limited Edition “Studio Scribbles” series for this song. We originally printed and numbered 100 copies and signed them all, so if you would like to snatch up one of the remaining few – you still can!
And of course the studio version of “I Bought Myself A Politician” is available on the “WHY?” album which you can get on CD, Vinyl or as a Download.
