I’m another newish member, and like others, I can’t explain why I had not heard of everything MLT music-wise a long time ago. Paul, may I chime in by saying your post was so poignant and accurate to my own recent experiences discovering Mona & Lisa and their superb music. My initial month sub lapses on the 24 May — but it won’t stop me from staying true to the lassies through a Club Sub renewal. I’m a retiree so thrifty spending is a reality in my world. Alan, it seems that there are many like-minded members on here who have been lucky enough to have found the Twins. I hope that other people who would love their music don’t miss out because their fame is not as widespread as it should be.
Too right, Paul! Sometimes I wonder if fame and fortune can taint humble beginnings (I’ve often wondered this about the Beatles as well as M & L)? The twins are, to me, are like precious gems — when they perfom, their smiles are as beautiful as sparkling diamonds and their angelic harmonies as beautiful as a glistening pearls! Would this be changed with fame? Not sure….
