Hi friends!
Let us tell you what’s happening over at the MLT Club as part of the Advent Calendar this year. Our members voted for this beautiful song by the American folk legend Jim Croce for us to play, so over the last week this “Time In A Bottle” cover came to be.
Each day, we documented the progress and showed it in a little video. From figuring out the guitar chords, to coming up with an arrangement, to finding a good filming location and then editing the video … we took the Club along for the whole very busy week!
Now we’re already working on the next pick … “Daydream Believer” by The Monkees! If you want to be part of this Advent Calendar journey and help choose the final 3rd song, you can join the Club below. There’ll also be a Club-exclusive Livestream on the 23rd with live music, giveaways, games and lots of chatting!
And, of course, you’ll get to rewatch the past year’s advent calendars, all the hundreds of behind-the-scenes videos, travel vlogs, reaction videos, vinyl listening sessions and photos posts we did over the years.
But even if you’re not a member, you can now watch the finished video on our official YouTube channel. It was filmed in the antique clock store W J Morris. Big shoutout to them for letting us film in their store on such short notice – they were absolute legends!
