But he seemed to grasp the importance of respecting mother earth at a fairly young age. When Dan moved to Colorado, he lived very close to an Indian reservation. He was good friends with many native Americans. And, of course,&hellip;</p>

He wrote many songs about taking care of the planet (Mother Earth) and our wildlife over 40 years ago!! I know it wasn&#8217;t unheard of back then, but I don&#8217;t think people took it as seriously as he did back then either.
