I saw the Corrs on TV around 25 years ago performing “So Young”, and I was captivated by their stage presence. At the time I was grousing about how all musical acts seemed to perform with an attitude consistent with constipation, and the Corrs were a refreshing change from that.

Well, that was certainly a lot more up-tempo that the original! This is another song that I know mostly from the Weird Al parody, King of Suede.

Well, Paul, in the early 80’s I was taking college-prep courses in high school, and spent nearly every waking minute with my face buried in books. I hadn’t learned yet that a reading assignment doesn’t have to be essentially memorized. That would have opened up a lot of free time!

That’s a fantastic cover! Bohemian Rhapsody is an extremely complex song, and the difficulty is multiplied here by the fact that it’s not in their native language.

I’ve heard a few of those Dusty collaborations, Jacki, and they’re excellent! She always had a good sense of how to maximize the quality of her work, including picking the right people to work with.
