Goodbye, Down under! “Jetzt Ist Sommer” – New Video!

After a 6-months student exchange in Australia we are now back home in good old Austria.

Don’t get us wrong – it was really good to see our family and Austrians friends again. However on the other hand we had to say goodbye to so many beautiful people in Australia. That was really sad as we simply had an amazing time in Adelaide, learned a lot for life and made such good friends. But we know that we will see them again one day. Who knows – maybe we’ll do a world tour through Australia in ten years time?

During our time in high school there we one we had an “International Day” going on. Our music teacher asked us if we could perform a German song together with some other foreign acts. We chose “Jetzt ist Sommer” (It’s summer now) by the “Wise Guys” and performed it in front of nearly 3000 students. Now that we are back home we took our time to film a proper version of the song at a little lake behind our house and cut in some short clip fragments we filmed during our stay in OZ. This video is for all the amazing people we had the pleasure to meet!

What a special memory and equally special treat for all that got to listen to a Beautiful German song. I love when you sing in German. I can’t translate it, but I don’t care. I really love listening to the music and words.
Perhaps you could translate an original song into German and treat Everyone in the club.
Thanks again ladies and remain as groovy as you are now always.

Quite the catchy tune. Really enjoyed that! 10 years – World Tour – don’t forget to stop in the USA on your way back to Liverpool.

That song sounds great, but then again what doesn’t sound great when you both put your magic to it. Really enjoyed it and the glimpse into your student exchange in Australia days as well. Lot of lifetime fond memories I bet. Thanks for sharing this.

I don’t think I understood any of that but enjoyed it anyway. I’d love to see/hear more from your daggy school days in Adelaide. Any busking photos/videos from Rundle Mall? As for that return trip in ten years time, wouldn’t that be this year. Let me know the dates so I can book my accommodation in Adelaide!

I enjoyed that… Though I didn’t understand most of it… (occasionally words that sounded English I understood.. Lol) but I did like the rhythm and funky groove of the sound and how you performed it… Music is the Universal Language understood by All…. Thankyou for sharing ????????????????????☮️????????????❤️????️????????????

Just a gentle nudge from Sydney – it’s been almost 10 years now…
