i agree with what they were saying, and yes, the best proof is to compare the same guys in the ’60s with the ’70s. Pretty hard to imagine another band coming along with 2 strong willed musical geniuses like that.

That was a fascinating viewpoint of what made their songs so good. I don’t profess to know a lot about the Beatles, but that “yen and yang” aspect of their Beatles career in songwriting is interesting.
